The aim of the unit is to provide the highest quality service to patients suffering from conditions affecting the knee joint, particularly knee sports injuries.

The services at the Cheltenham Knee Unit are provided by Mr Harminder S Gosal and Mr Peter C Birch, Consultant Orthopaedic and Knee Surgeons, in conjunction with their Consultant Radiologist Colleagues with a Specialist interest in Musculoskeletal Scanning, Dr RE Hopkins and Professor ID Lyburn, Dr M Shaw & Dr J Green.

We aim to provide a full diagnostic and reporting service during one visit to the clinic, including Consultation with the Knee Specialist, any X-rays or state of the art MRI scanning that may be necessary.
